Pink and purple pancakes (Clara rejected Amy's offer of red and green pancakes in favor of her favorite colors. Very Christmasy if you're the Sugar Plum Fairy).
A favorite present, one of mamas old favorites from when she was little.

Someone asked if this pregnancy is going quickly. Not so much, was my reply, when you've been pregnant four of the last five Christmases! But Ellis was a kicky little thing on Christmas day, our best present.
Clara's favorite gift, an ironing board! She ironed all the napkins I made her, all the napkins in her new picnic kit, then all the napkins in the house and some fabric scraps, too, for at least 45 min. Wow. Should have gotten her one that plugged in! :) She did pretend to burn herself on it. Ha.
Another rare and spectacular gift, Christmas Day snow! About an hour of big, fluffy flakes, and then it was gone. Sort of like Christmas. :)
