Today's Trio task was to create a little cache of gifts to give away. Gift cards made from colored thumbprints connected by lines to make them look like Christmas lights went over pretty well. Only Sophia was into the other card and gift tag ideas I had prepared, but potato prints for wrapping paper were more popular and
these little sweet treats were the perfect toddler thing to make. We did a batch together and then the kids put them in wax bags to tie up for gifties. They looked cute, even without the little gift tags that were supposed to adorn them. Sniff. :) I guess there's always tomorrow!

Pressing pecan halves into the warm chocolate (Clara perfected the art of squishing them far too hard so she could get chocolate on her fingers to lick off. She did a lot of hand-washing today!
