Reading The Magic Flute

My favorite part is the "eternal darkness" bit at the end. She can do this for just about the whole book, and for a number of other books, too. It's kind of freaky. And doesn't leave any room for Ma or Mama to make reading errors, as we are immediately corrected. She is crazy for fairy tales and opera stories.

In case you need a transcript:
Sarastro came forward and put his arms around their shoulders. "Tamino and Pamina, I give you my blessing to marry. Together you will inherit my Throne of Light and bring much wisdom and happiness to the world. The evil Queen of the Night will have no power in this joyful land."
"AYEEEEEEE!" wailed the Queen, who had been secretly watching. Her cry echoed throughout the land as she fled with her ladies into eternal darkness.
