No, not for Ellis. :) But our most fabulous, wonderful perinatologist just became a dad again, to his first little girl. I wanted to make something special but practical, something you couldn't just buy somewhere. And so here it is, the deluxe dining set!! I am very pleased with it and hope to make more, at least for Clara and Ellis but also for special gifts and maybe a few to sell. We'll see how that goes when the new little howler arrives.
The set includes:
Lined lunchbag
Matching placemat with hand-embroidered tablesetting outlines
Cloth napkin
Bib
Set of stainless steel children's silverware from the Michael Olaf catalog
Recipe cards for my favorite baby and toddler recipes, ranging ages 6 months through preschool. The recipes I chose for this set were:
Pear, Raisin and Golden Raisin Puree from aturally Delicious Meals for Baby by Gerrie Hawes
Mini Banana Apple Bran Muffins from The Petit Appetit Cookbook by Lisa Barnes
Speedy Savory Pancakes from Naturally Delicious Meals for Baby by Gerrie Hawes
Crunchy Frozen Bananas from The Petit Appetit Cookbook by Lisa Barnes
Baked Egg Puffs from Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld
Apple Date Bars from Lunch Lessons by Ann Cooper and Lisa Holmes
