We ALMOST missed the playgroup outing to the pumpkin patch today because of the rain forecast, but were rewarded for our daring with a muddy but mainly sprinkle-free outing. Clara's favorite was the "cow ride," a tractor-pulled caravan of plastic barrels on wheels disguised as cows. Very bumpy and a little nausea-inducing. Mama was more partial to the wet hayride and the pumpkin fields. Of course the corn and cider were very tasty (not that I got more than one bite of that corn!)
