Usually when making food items with Clara we try to work with healthy ingredients, but had to make an exception for these very easy, fun marshmallow monsters! You can find directions here--theirs look better because they made them green with pretzel bolts for little Frankensteins, but we didn't want to go to the store so worked with what we had. Hence, purple monsters with straws for handles, O cereal for eyes, and pretzel arms from broken twisty pretzels. :) Though not as picture perfect, Clara thought these were pretty good! The other adaptation we made was with the chocolate--since we don't have a microwave, I melted the chips in a pan with some thin slivers of butter, which gave it a nice sheen and consistency.
