Amy did her first bike race this weekend, the Piece of Cake Road Race in Perrydale (south of Amity). Although she did not win a cake, she was thrilled to not come in last on her first race and to survive the downpour that occurred at the start. A local bike shop even sponsored her and gave her a jersey. It was a 30 mile loop and she did her best time yet for that distance, so we were proud of her! You can see more details of the ride here.
