Happy Birthday, Dr. King

How did you spend your day of service? Hopefully we'll make more of a splash in the community service scene in future years. But still, we spent today...Making tasty thank you lunches for Clara's teachers (who took some of the kids on an outing today). We appreciate you, Amy and Emily!Doing classroom volunteer projects. (Never tell a Montessori teacher you have a sewing machine). Cleaning up the neighborhood, part of "A Block for Barack."

Dr. King, we hope your legacy is celebrated and realized every day. And we hope you can take a peek down this year--there's something pretty spectacular going on. Thanks to you and many others for paving the road. It sure is nice to be proud of where we live again, and to actively hope for a better future.
